Event Navigation
Follow along as Shelley describes her experience with trying Straw Bale Gardening for the first time. Hear why Shelley decided to create a straw bale garden and how she set it up, selected vegetables and is learning how to maintain it by trial and error. Understand how to select a proper site, construct a straw bale, select the correct amount of plants and learn their proper care. Discuss harvesting and methods to extend the growing season. Benefits include less work, water savings, less weeding, pesticide/herbicide free, small space utilization and accessibility.
